Remember when Musk said he’s buying twitter because “hurr durr free speech”?
Looks like they suspended the personal account of its creator, Jack Sweeney, as well.
That didn’t seem to do much to deter the guy. Look at how many accounts he has:
He’s on Facebook, Instagram, Mastodon and… Truth Social?! Ew.
If it’s any consolation, he has a corresponding TrumpJet on Truth Social.
That does make me feel a little bit better, yes :)
The man is everywhere. He cannot be stopped

I agree with this decision. what is the idea of tracking these private jets?
- bring visibility to bourgeois parasites doing environmental damage
- make bourgeois parasites feel uncomfortable
- highlight the hollowness of Elon’s free speech gesturing by getting banned from Twitter
These are all great goals if you ask me.
I don’t see any good reason yet. using your computer or smart phone to tweet make damage to environment if you are not aware. the other reasons, i don`t know. still not good.

Aviation produces just under one billion tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually, accounting for 2.5% of global CO2 pollution.
But while aviation remains a great contributor to the climate crisis, a small number of people are responsible for a large bulk of the impact. In the U.K., surveys in 2013 and 2014 found that just 15% of adults were responsible for 70% of the flights. And according to the clean transport campaign group Transport & Environment, 10% of all flights that departed France in 2019 were private aircrafts.
The average person produces about 7 metric ton of CO2 annually. Meanwhile, celebrities have emitted an average of more than 3,300 metric tons from their private jets alone so far this year, according to Yard.
For comparison, one of Mayweather’s 10-minute flights produced one ton of CO2, whereas the EPA reports that the typical car will emit 4.6 tons of carbon dioxide annually.
Sounds interesting, thanks for the information.
Here’s a video on the topic if you’re interested.

Among other things, one of the issues is they use their private jets in much the same way we might casually use a car.
Now its true we should all be using our cars less, so most of us are a bit guilty.
Yet the scale of emissions is drastically different. eg. In the single month of January this year, Bezos’ private jets consumed enough fuel to fly roughly 500 people from Washington DC to London. Thats in ONE month of he & his partner using his private jets like we might use a car. 1
If it’s pointless then why go out of your way to ban it? There’s already way more pointless accounts on Twitter than helpful ones. The fact that he did is extremely telling.
