why does every small bean capitalist have a 5 year olds understanding of the world?
Having sold their souls to capital, they long for the last time they experienced real human connection — thus they retreat into an infantile state of mind, desperately trying to claw back that which they lost.
Or something.
The US education system is not conducive to gaining an adult understanding of the world.
It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his dividends depends upon his not understanding it
There’s a pizza place I don’t go to anymore because it has a “joke” sign up that does some bad math to prove no one works enough thus no one deserves days off. Reminds me of this.
I know the sign you’re talking about.
If porky needs me so badly that he would die if a single employee took one unpaid day off, then imagine all the extra cash we can yank out of that pig’s trotters if multiple workers threatened to not go to work unless he parted with some of his precious cash stack.
Sorry bossman, my landlord needs this money more than you. Don’t like it? Take it up with my landlord.
Profits are up… Costs are down!
My brother in wages, we ARE the cost!
gross
especially the ones about taking a pay cut and not needing a raise
fuck you, pay me
Tell me your a surplus value thief without saying you’re a surplus value thief.
Can we make Fridays “dress-up” days?
Yes, but the only person who’s getting dressed up is going to be the boss, and the workers are the ones who choose the clothes. The boss ends up wearing clown makeup and 50 coats on top of each other, each a size too small.

I’d have to deface this sign the minute I saw the “I’d take a pay cut to keep working here” spot. Like, this is why I carry sharpies right next to the folding knife when I leave the house.
Sounds like a guy that misses the “good old days” of outright slavery and indentured servitude. Place screams for unionization.

Joker-ass named company right there
You’re gonna go home early anyway, so why should I invite you to do it?
The font and style looks like something you’d find in an elementary school classroom where I grew up.
These are always the kind of managers who (unsolicited) tell me I don’t conduct myself appropriately in the workplace, as if they have better social and communication skills.
