  • @ernest However from the tests I did today, I could find that Kbin is a very versatile and interesting software.

Obviously, compared to Lemmy it is less mature, but it has a much greater originality (it is not meant to be a copy of Reddit) and a promising versatility (the microblog section was a well thought out idea).

So, congratulations for this beautiful project: I really hope that many instances of many different languages are born!

  • This is the source of the text written above:

    ~text~
    ^text^
    ~~text~~

    |Cell 1|Cell 2|
    |--------|--------|
    | A | B |
    | C | D |

Let's see if they can be inserted in the body text a first footnote [^1] and a second footnote [^2] .
[^1]: here is the text of the first footnote.
[^2]: here is the text of the second footnote. PS: **Footnotes** can also be *formatted*.

  • Of course, this behavior has advantages and disadvantages:

    • (+) Lemmy can create titles
    • (-) Kbin no

but it is also true that

    • (-) if Lemmy receives a badly written microblogging message, she processes like a post it badly and makes it appear in a horrible way …
    • (+) if Kbin receives a badly written microblogging message, she doesn’t need to process it and makes it appear as if it were a normal microblogging platform
